These volunteers step in where others look away:

at animal markets, in cases of neglect, or after accidents. They rescue abused pets, breeding animals, wild and even exotic animals, giving every rescued creature a fair chance at a better life.

We are talking about the unique Bendowo animal sanctuary in Poland. Founded 16 years ago by Michał Bednarek, who still cares for more than 600 animals every day together with a dedicated group of volunteers.

They take in dogs that have spent years behind shelter bars. But they also run the only bison rescue centre in Europe – a place where these impressive animals are not shot, but simply allowed to live.

You will find horses here, as well as donkeys, camels, goats, llamas, wild birds and many more.

All of them are animals that have been injured, neglected or abandoned — usually because of human actions. Here, they are finally given a fair second chance!

Michal and his team lovingly rehabilitate every rescued animal, so it can enjoy a good life again. First with them at the sanctuary, and later — when possible — in another safe and animal‑friendly environment.

Education for children

They also show children at the sanctuary how to treat and care for different kinds of animals. In addition, they actively visit schools and orphanages.

Children learn that animals have feelings too — that they deserve respect, and that good care makes our world a kinder place. Because they believe that a good example can create a chain reaction.

Learning to trust again

Everything they do is focused on one big goal: helping all these animals slowly regain their trust in people.

They therefore run active adoption programmes for healthy animals, giving them the chance to find a new home.

This creates space for new weak or elderly animals that often have nowhere else to go.
And when the time comes for the older animals, they pass away peacefully — surrounded by care and love.

No government subsidies

Unfortunately, they do not qualify for the subsidies that regular shelters receive. They are therefore completely dependent on private donations from animal lovers.

All costs are rising rapidly. In addition, they urgently need to finish the fencing for the bisons — essential for their safety.

Somewhere in Romania, yet another dog has been found.
Lying by the roadside. Hit by a car, injured, exhausted.
Sometimes it has been there for days — shivering with fear while cars rush past and people walk by.

The comments start pouring in.
Angry reactions, sad emojis, well‑meant advice.
But real, practical help is rare… painfully rare.

Until suddenly an update appears:
“The dog has been taken in by Gabriela Boboc.”
And then you know — this dog is safe.

Dogs with three — or even just two — legs

A large open room. The floor is covered with soft mattresses, blankets and baskets.
Here and there you see worn‑out toys, and bowls filled with food and fresh water.

And there are dogs — many dogs.
All shapes, sizes and colours.
Everything has been done to create a safe, homelike environment.

At first glance it looks like a normal shelter.
But… if you look closely, you realise this is not an ordinary place.
You see dogs with three legs, or even only two.
And blind dogs too — moving around confidently, as if they know every corner by heart.

Here, every dog can simply be themselves

The dogs with neurological problems rest on their blankets.
Yet somehow, they don’t look sad or defeated.

On the contrary — they play, they tumble around,
and one of them occasionally lets out a loud, joyful bark.
Here, they are not “disabled”.
Here, they are simply dogs.

Gabriela was only five years old when she rescued her first dog.
She hid him in the basement of her family home
and secretly took meat from her mother’s kitchen to feed him.

Her stepfather didn’t like dogs,
but somehow Gabriela managed to raise that little dog in their garden —
a small miracle that shaped the rest of her life.

Leaving home at a young age to help animals

When she was only 23, newly divorced, Gabriela was already rescuing as many street dogs as she could.
The healthy ones she found new homes for.

But the dogs who remained…
were the ones nobody wanted.
Blind, paralysed, or simply considered “unadoptable”.

To cover the costs, she worked two jobs:
a daytime position as a manager at a large company,
and in the evenings she taught dance classes.

Ten years ago, however, she made a decision that changed her life forever.
After finding twelve puppies with parvovirus dumped among the rubbish,
she gave up her career.

She moved to the countryside, bought an abandoned warehouse,
and renovated it with her own hands — turning it into a shelter.
That was the beginning of her very first real rescue centre.

60 disabled dogs

Today, Gabriela cares for 60 disabled dogs inside the shelter building.
Outside, another 70 large, healthy dogs roam freely — dogs she raised from puppyhood,
but who were never adopted and are now eight or nine years old.

She lives far away from the nearest town.
But the people in the area know her, and they respect her deeply
for who she is and what she does.

She receives no support from any large organisation.
Only a few loyal friends help when they can — with food, towels or dog beds.
But almost all expenses fall on her shoulders alone.

Veterinary visits, medication, food, dog houses, flea and tick treatments.
And for the paralysed dogs: diapers, bandages, tape and ointments.

As for maintenance of the shelter…
she hardly dares to think about it.

Her love for the animals is endless

The one thing that is always present — in abundance —
is Gabriela’s love for her “children”, as she calls her dogs.

Because of her rheumatism, her hands are deformed.
Her shoulders are worn from lifting and carrying so many disabled animals.

Dogs whose bladders and bowels must be emptied by hand.
Dogs who simply could not survive without her.

And still she continues.
Despite the pain.
Despite the physical strain.
Her dedication never wavers.

Gabriela gives her entire life to the animals.

Day after day, she fights for the outcasts of Romanian society — the dogs who would otherwise face a life on a chain or on the cold, unforgiving streets.

She fights to give them something that is so normal for many of us:
A warm bed. A full bowl of food. A safe place.
And above all… dignity.

For these dogs, Gabriela is their whole world.

Het zoveelste SOS-bericht verschijnt op Facebook!!

Er is daar in Roemenië weer een hond gevonden. Langs de kant van de weg. Aangereden, gewond, uitgeput. Soms ligt het daar al dagen. Bibberend van angst, terwijl auto’s voorbijrazen en mensen langslopen.

De reacties stromen binnen. Boze woorden, verdrietige emoticons en goedbedoelde adviezen.
Maar zelden, heel zelden concrete hulp…

Tot er ineens een update verschijnt: “De hond wordt overgenomen door Gabriela Boboc.”
Dan weet je, hij is gered!

Honden met 3 of zelfs maar 2 pootjes

Een grote ruimte. De vloer ligt vol met zachte matrassen, manden en kleden. Hier en daar ligt wat versleten speelgoed en er staan bakjes met voer en vers water.

En er zijn honden, veel honden. In alle soorten, maten en kleuren. Er is alles aan gedaan om een huiselijke en veilige omgeving te creëren.

Ogenschijnlijk lijkt het een normale opvang. Maar… wie goed kijkt ziet toch dat dit geen gewone plek is. Je ziet honden met drie of zelfs maar twee pootjes en ook blinde dieren, die toch feilloos hun weg weten te vinden.

Hier kunnen alle honden gewoon zichzelf zijn

De honden met neurologische problemen liggen op hun kleed. Toch lijken ze op de een of andere manier niet zielig.

Integendeel. Ze spelen en ravotten met elkaar en een enkeling laat luid blaffend van zich horen. Hier zijn ze niet ‘gehandicapt’. Hier zijn ze gewoon hond!

Gabriela was pas 5 jaar oud toen ze haar eerste hond redde. Ze verstopte hem in de kelder van hun huis en stal vlees voor hem uit haar moeders keuken.

Haar stiefvader hield niet van honden, maar wonderbaarlijk lukte het Gabriela om hem toch groot te brengen in hun tuin.

Al vroeg uit huis om dieren te helpen

Toen ze nog maar 23 jaar was, na haar scheiding, redde ze al zoveel mogelijk honden van de straat. Voor de gezonde vond ze nieuwe huizen.

Maar de honden die overbleven… dat waren degene die niemand wilde. Blind, verlamd en dus niet plaatsbaar.

Om alles te kunnen bekostigen had ze twee banen: overdag manager bij een groot bedrijf en ’s avonds gaf ze danslessen.

Tien jaar geleden nam ze echter een besluit dat haar leven voorgoed veranderde. Nadat ze twaalf pups met parvo tussen het afval had gevonden, gaf ze haar carrière op.

Ze trok zich terug op het platteland, kocht een verlaten loods en verbouwde het eigenhandig tot dierenopvang. Hiermee was haar eerste echte asiel een feit!

60 gehandicapte honden

Momenteel zorgt ze in de loods voor 60 gehandicapte honden. Buiten lopen er nog eens 70 grote gezonde dieren rond die zij vanaf pup heeft grootgebracht. Die helaas nooit geadopteerd werden en intussen al acht of negen jaar oud zijn.

Ze leeft ver van de bewoonde wereld. Maar de mensen kennen haar en respecteren haar om wie ze is en wat ze doet.

Ze heeft geen steun van een grote organisatie. Wel van een paar trouwe vrienden die helpen waar ze kunnen met voer, handdoeken en/of manden. Maar vrijwel alle kosten draagt ze zelf.

Voor dierenartsbezoeken, medicijnen, voer, hokken en anti-vlo- en tekenmiddelen. En voor de verlamde honden luiers, verband, tape en zalfjes.

Onderhoud aan het asiel? Daar durft ze niet eens aan te denken.

Haar liefde voor de dieren is oneindig groot!

Het enige wat er ALTIJD en in OVERVLOED is, is de liefde van Gabriela voor haar ‘kinderen’ zoals ze haar eigen honden noemt.

Door de reuma zijn haar handen misvormd. Haar schouders zijn versleten van het tillen en dragen van zoveel gehandicapte dieren.

Honden waarvan de blaas en darmen handmatig geleegd moeten worden. Die zonder haar niet zouden kunnen overleven.

En toch gaat ze door. Ondanks alle pijn en inspanningen!

Gabriela geeft haar hele leven voor de dieren.

Dag na dag vecht ze voor de verschoppelingen van de Roemeense maatschappij. Voor de honden die anders een leven aan een ketting of op de harde straat wacht.

Ze vecht om hen iets te geven wat voor velen vanzelfsprekend is: Een warme mand. Een volle voerbak. Een veilige plek. En vooral… waardigheid!

Voor deze honden is Gabriela hun hele wereld. Laten wij met het 200ste maandproject het verschil maken!!

A Lifeline for Injured Animals in India

❤️ A place where suffering animals finally get help

In a rural part of India, countless street dogs and cats live without any access to medical care. Road accidents, infections, untreated wounds, and neglect are part of daily life. When an animal is injured, there is simply nowhere to go.
For years, Patricia, a Dutch woman who has lived in India for a long time, has been helping these animals with whatever she had — basic supplies, her own hands, and a huge heart.

But the need became too big.
So she decided to build something that had never existed there before:
A small but fully equipped animal hospital.
A safe place where injured animals can finally receive treatment, recover, and get a second chance.

🐶 Why this hospital is urgently needed

The situation in the region is heartbreaking:

- Many animals arrive with deep wounds or infections
- Road accidents are extremely common
- Puppies and kittens are often abandoned and sick
- There is no government support
- No veterinary clinic exists within reach

Without help, these animals suffer for days — or die unseen.
This hospital will become the only place where animals can receive proper care.

🧱 What has already been achieved

Thanks to incredible determination — and support from donors — Patricia has already:

- secured land for the hospital
- built the foundation and walls
- installed basic plumbing and electricity
- created a small recovery room
- started treating the first animals on site
- rescued and cared for dozens of dogs and cats

Every step has been done with minimal resources and maximum love.

- medical equipment (tables, lamps, tools)
- medicines, bandages, and antibiotics

Winter Feeding Campaign.

Because no animal should go hungry in the coldest months of the year.
Winter is the hardest season for stray animals. Food becomes scarce, temperatures drop, and many animals struggle to survive without help. Local rescuers do everything they can, but they often lack the resources to feed all the dogs and cats depending on them.
Our Winter Feeding Campaign provides urgent support so these animals can make it through the cold months safely.

Why Winter Feeding Is Essential

Stray animals face extreme challenges during winter:

- little or no access to food
- freezing temperatures that drain their energy
- weakened immune systems
- higher risk of illness and infection
- puppies and kittens with almost no chance of survival

Small Project 137 – Every life counts

A shelter where every life truly matters

For ten years, Ioana Marascu and her husband Bogdan have been running a small but extraordinary shelter — a place where every life counts. Dogs, cats, donkeys, sheep, goats… more than 200 animals depend on them every single day.

What began as feeding stray animals in their neighbourhood grew into a full shelter. Over the years, they have rescued animals from the streets, from killing stations, and from owners who kept their dogs chained day and night. Many arrive injured, sick, abused, or severely neglected.

Daily care for more than 200 animals

Ioana manages most of the work behind the scenes, while Bogdan spends every day caring for the animals:

  • cleaning kennels
  • refreshing straw in winter
  • giving food and medication
  • filling water bowls
  • comforting the dogs who crowd around him for attention

The puppies jump up excitedly — they know he always takes a moment to play with them.

But his work doesn’t stop at the shelter. Every day, Bogdan drives through the surrounding area with bags of dry food, cans of wet food, and bottles of water to feed around 70 stray animals. Sick or injured animals are treated on the spot or taken back to the shelter. There is always room for one more soul in need.

For years, Ioana and Bogdan have also supported the dogs at the nearby Babeni killing station. Bogdan feeds them and tries to help as many as he can. Many have been rescued and brought to their shelter — but increasingly, he is forced to leave dogs behind… knowing what will happen to them.

Winter makes everything harder

Bogdan also runs a special winter action: placing large barrels filled with food or straw in different locations so stray dogs can shelter from the freezing cold.
But even this is now at risk.

Everything has become more expensive:

  • food
  • veterinary treatments
  • sterilizations
  • shelter maintenance

The situation is so serious that a crisis is approaching.

They urgently need help

Donations and adoptions have dropped dramatically. Ioana and Bogdan are desperate. Debts are growing, and feeding more than 200 animals is becoming almost impossible. Some days, there simply isn’t enough food.

These animals depend entirely on them — and on us.

We cannot abandon them.

Once upon a time....

This could be the beginning of a fairy tale. But in this case, it is anything but.

This is the story of Florentina and Nicoleta (known simply as Flo and Nico) and their difficult and seemingly endless fight against animal suffering in their country—Romania—where thousands of dogs and cats lead a hard and bleak existence in the streets, fields, and abandoned houses.

But despite hunger, thirst, and looming danger, they live in freedom. It is even worse for the dogs that have to spend their lives in often just a few square meters in the municipal shelters and killing stations, where they are sometimes given only two weeks before they are killed.

We've been following these two wonderful women for years, and many of our loyal supporters undoubtedly still know them. Their days are a constant stream of feeding dogs, cleaning cages and kennels, distributing medication, taking injured and/or sick animals to the clinic or picking them up, and... feeding more dogs.

Every night, they have to go to sleep worried about the next day. Will there be enough food? Are all the puppies still alive? How many more dogs will be brought to the public shelter, and what will we encounter on the streets?

"Caring" is a key word in their lives.

Every day, over 650 adult dogs and almost 150 puppies wait at three locations for a bowl of food and a pat or a cuddle. There's no time for anything more. The puppies with Flo's father and the dogs on the streets aren't forgotten either, but usually, the day is over before they have time for that.

As soon as they hear the car, they come running. They recognize the sound and know that food and a little attention are coming. Injured or sick animals are, of course, taken in.

Now, with winter approaching, concerns are also growing. There are nowhere near enough good cages at the municipal shelter. Most of the existing cages are falling apart and no longer offer any shelter.

In the long rows of kennels, protection is minimal, and the partitions are partially rotten or broken. Rain and snow have free rein, and the cold, often icy wind blows through every crack and crevice.

It's heartbreaking to see the animals huddle together, shivering and shaking, trying to keep warm. The puppies pile into what is often the only basket available.

If possible, blankets are placed on the concrete floor to protect the puppies' feet. But if these blankets get wet and freeze, the suffering is unimaginable.

It's not uncommon for animals to be found frozen to death in the morning during these harsh Romanian winters.

The suffering the girls witness and experience daily is unbearable and never gets old. How much mental strength does it take to endure such a life for decades?

Besides well-insulated cages, they also need baskets and pallets, along with large quantities of straw. This is the best way to provide the dogs with any comfort.

Sufficient and good food is also absolutely essential. The cold takes a lot of energy, so they need more food than usual to maintain their body temperature.

We know that Florentina and Nicoleta won't give up. Because despite all the sadness, fear, and worry, there is sometimes joy, and they remember what they're doing it all for.

A seriously injured or sick animal that, with great care, is recovering. One or more animals on their way to a golden home with a new life ahead of them.

It makes them determined to continue this fight.
Our hearts go out to these two women who sacrifice their lives for the most vulnerable among us. The ones without a voice!

Once upon a time… two women who need our help now more than ever.

For all these animals who wouldn't even survive without Flo and Nico. Who never miss a day and never disappoint.

It's almost Christmas, and now we can speak our hearts out.

Project 195 – Gili Islands Animal Rescue Support

Helping local rescuers care for injured, abandoned and vulnerable animals on the Gili Islands.

The Gili Islands are home to many stray dogs and cats who depend entirely on the compassion of local rescuers. These dedicated volunteers work day and night to help animals that are sick, injured, abandoned or starving — often with very limited resources.

Through Project 195, we support these rescuers with food, medical supplies, emergency treatments and essential care for the animals who need it most.

Why Support Is Urgently Needed

Life on the Gili Islands is especially hard for stray animals:

  • no access to veterinary clinics
  • limited availability of medicines and supplies
  • frequent injuries from traffic, neglect or accidents
  • malnutrition due to lack of food
  • no government support for animal welfare

Local rescuers do everything they can, but they cannot do it alone.

What This Project Makes Possible

Thanks to donor support, we can provide:

- food for dogs and cats in rescue care
- antibiotics, wound care and basic medical supplies
- emergency treatments for injured animals
- parasite control (ticks, fleas, worms)
- support for sterilisation when possible
- help for rescuers caring for large groups of animals

Georgiana Neagu in Roemenië kennen wij al jarenlang. Ze heeft al 15 jaar een asiel in Brasov, waarin meer dan 350 geredde honden zijn opgenomen, van wie velen ernstig mishandeld, verwaarloosd of gewond zijn geraakt.

Onder hen zijn honden met speciale fysieke behoeften die constante aandacht en medische zorg nodig hebben.

Ze vraagt bijna nooit om hulp, maar de nood was nu zo gestegen dat ze een hartstochtelijk beroep op ons en dus op jullie doet…

Grote verschillen

Wat zijn de verschillen toch extreem groot… Nederland kent geen zwerfhonden, maar er rijden hier wel honderden dierenambulances rond. Als er bij ons ergens een katje of een vogel gewond is geraakt, is deskundige hulp snel ter plaatse.

In Roemenië, op slechts een paar uur vliegen en zelfs gewoon binnen de EU, vormen aangereden dieren helaas het dagelijkse straatbeeld. Niemand die daar ook maar zelfs de moeite neemt om bijv. een gewonde hond te helpen.

Zelfs de meeste automobilisten die zo’n dier al dan niet bewust aangereden hebben, rijden vaak gewoon door en bekommeren zich niet om het leed dat zij net veroorzaakt hebben.

Speciale zorg

Dat iemand als Georgiana in zo’n land zich dan toch helemaal wil inzetten, juist voor dieren die hulpeloos langs de kant van de weg en kermend van de pijn liggen te wachten op een wonder, treft ons diep in ons hart!

Zoals Lisa, die neurologische schade opliep na een auto-ongeluk, of Raisa, wiens poot geamputeerd moest worden na een brute mishandeling. Of Phoenix, die door een wreedheid nog maar twee poten heeft en Pingu, een gehandicapte lieverd, behoren tot Georgiana’s vele dieren die dagelijks speciale zorg nodig hebben.

Dat haar kosten gigantisch zijn, nog afgezien van de medische zaken, zoals een dierenarts, laat het onderstaande overzicht zien:

Grote verhuizing nodig

Al jarenlang heeft Georgiana op twee apart gehuurde stukjes grond al haar dieren gehuisvest. Maar dat is natuurlijk super onhandig en het kost haar heel veel extra tijd en kosten om tussen beide locaties te pendelen.

Met veel moeite en met behulp van een lieve donateur, is het haar onlangs gelukt om een eigen stuk grond aan te kopen. Zodat zij daar al haar dieren de liefde, stabiliteit en gespecialiseerde zorg kan geven.

Maar nu moet zij nog ontzettend veel doen om die opvang leefbaar te maken voor haar honderden dieren. Vandaar dat zij nu een beroep op ons doet om haar financieel te willen helpen.

Klein huisje

Zelf is ze al naar een klein huisje op het nieuwe terrein verhuisd, zodat ze altijd bij haar dieren kan zijn.

Na het verzorgen van haar dieren op beide terreinen, werkt ze tot ’s avonds laat door op het nieuwe stuk grond. Zo schildert ze al haar hokken met een kleurtje om toch wat vrolijkheid erin te leggen…

Het begin van dit jaar was ongelooflijk zwaar voor haar. Ze heeft talloze noodsituaties meegemaakt en helaas zijn ook een aantal van haar dieren alsnog gestorven. Meestal omdat de verwondingen te ernstig blijken te zijn...

Wat moet er nog gebeuren?

• Onvoltooide bouw: Delen van het nieuwe terrein moeten nog worden afgemaakt, zoals omheiningen, schaduwplekken en een speciale beschermde plek voor honden met speciale behoeften.

• Beperkte middelen: De stijgende kosten voor medische zorg, voedsel en andere benodigdheden zijn een grote last, vooral omdat veel honden met speciale behoeften voortdurende behandelingen en/of een speciaal dieet nodig hebben.

• Gebrek aan vrijwilligers: Helaas kan zij bijna geen vrijwilligers vinden. Het meeste doet zij daarom alleen. Wat bij zo'n groot aantal dieren een vrijwel bovenmenselijke inspanning kost...

• Adopties zijn zeldzaam – de meeste van haar honden zijn "niet-adopteerbaar" en langdurige sponsoring is moeilijk te verkrijgen.

Georgiana doet een beroep op ons…

Zij doet nu een nederig beroep op ons… Immers het samenvoegen van al haar dieren (zij heeft ook nog katten…) op het stuk nieuwe grond moet nu echt snel gebeuren. Anders houdt zij het niet lang meer vol…

Die verhuizing zal haar dan in staat stellen, om al haar moedige doorzettertjes die haar zo enorm aan het hart liggen, de zorg, veiligheid en liefde te bieden die ze zo hard nodig hebben en zeker ook verdienen!

Een kleine puppy, trillend van angst, doelloos zwervend door de straten van Tanger. Haar poten bloederig van het scherpe asfalt.

Iets verderop een uitgemergelde kat, met lege ogen, zoekend naar een restje voedsel in bergen afval.

Voor duizenden dieren in Marokko is dit helaas hun dagelijkse realiteit. Maar het hoeft niet zo te blijven.

1.000 dieren...

Het team van deze bijzondere opvang staat dagelijks klaar om gewonde, verwaarloosde en achtergelaten dieren te redden.

Van noodzakelijke operaties tot voedzame maaltijden en veilige plekjes om te slapen.

Elk dier in nood dat door hen op straat gevonden wordt, krijgt een behandeling met liefde en zorg.

Maar ze kunnen het niet alleen. Inmiddels telt de opvang bijna 1.000 dieren: zo'n 700 honden, 100 katten, 45 ezels, geiten, schapen, vogels, wilde zwijnen en zelfs een aapje.

Eén voor één gered van een tragedie.

Sally verkocht alles...

Het betreft dus geen traditioneel asiel maar een opvang met een groot stuk land waar de dieren vrij kunnen bewegen.

Ze leven niet in hokken of kooien maar hebben dag en nacht de vrijheid om rond te rennen en te spelen. Maar ook plekken om te schuilen en te slapen.

Een team van vrijwillige medewerkers is altijd aan het werk en aanwezig bij de dieren.

Gestart in 2013, door de Engels/Marokkaanse Salima Kadaoui (Sally) die haar huis en alles in Engeland verkocht om in Tanger zwerfdieren in nood ECHT goed te gaan helpen.

Vele adopties naar Europa

Enkele jaren geleden hebben wij er al eens een hulpproject voor gehouden, maar nu klopte Sara Moussaoui (hier boven links), die al heel lang in Nederland woont, opnieuw bij ons aan...

Zij gaf ons aan dat het zo mooi is, dat zij er inmiddels ook voor zorgen dat elk jaar zo'n 100 honden en katten van hen geadopteerd worden, zowel in Marokko als naar het buitenland.

Regelmatig begeleidt Sara als vluchtvrijwilliger deze geadopteerde dieren naar hun nieuwe thuis.

Sara heeft ons aangeboden, dat zij ook graag voor jullie als onze trouwe volgers dierenadopties wil verzorgen. Zie rubriek links onderaan.

Een grote held

De dierenarts waarmee de stichting samenwerkt is voor hun absoluut een echte held.

Ondanks de hoge schuld die er bij hem is voor het helpen van al die gevonden gewonde dieren, blijft hij hiermee doorgaan. Maar ook voor hem is er een financiële grens...

Ook is er een groot probleem omdat er geen geld meer is om straatkatten en honden te steriliseren en vaccineren om de verspreiding van rabies tegen te gaan.

Sinds de start van dit project zijn er al meer dan 3.500 honden en meer dan 4.000 katten gesteriliseerd en gevaccineerd! Dat moet echt door gaan...

Een overvolle opvang...

Gelukkig heeft de opvang een goede basis, wat wij voor de toekomst heel belangrijk vinden.

Want de grond van de opvang is door een Amerikaanse weldoener gekocht en voor 1 euro huur per jaar ter beschikking gesteld aan de stichting.

Toch is de financiële nood hoger dan ooit. Het asiel zit overvol, medische kosten stapelen zich op en de voerbakken raken leeg.

Jouw donatie is dus echt heel hard nodig.

Tientallen geredde honden en katten wachten in deze opvang op hun kans op een veilig thuis.
Ze zijn al klaar voor vertrek en hebben alleen nog een vliegticket nodig.

18 aug. - Wat kunnen wij toch op jullie bouwen, lieve vrienden! Ondanks alle hulpvragen die wij deze maand naar jullie sturen, blijven er ook voor dit 1.000 dieren asiel met o.a. vele ezels hele mooie donaties binnenkomen! Erg mooi en zeer veel dank!

11 aug. - Ook deze week waren er diverse projecten waarvoor wij jullie aandacht vroegen. Op onze website, op Facebook en nog van onze Extra Nieuwsbrief van vorige week. Toch kwam er ook voor het actuele hulpproject van deze maand een prachtige bedrag binnen. Ontzettend veel dank daarvoor!

4 aug. - Ondanks de 'concurrentie' van het Extra Noodproject zijn de eerste paar dagen voor dit nieuwe maandproject erg mooi verlopen! Dit spreekt jullie met die enorme aantallen dieren, waaronder veel ezels blijkbaar erg aan. En terecht!
