WINTER 2026:
HUNGER AND COLD FOR STRAY ANIMALS...

Winter always hits Eastern Europe much harder than it does here.

In the coming months, temperatures will again drop to extremely low levels, often well below freezing. In countries like Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Serbia, and Bosnia, heavy snowfall is common, with temperatures dropping to 10 to 20 degrees below zero.

The conditions are downright difficult for both humans and animals. In some shelters, caregivers often dig through thick layers of snow in the morning, their hearts pounding, hoping to find all their animals alive.

The need is once again immense during these winter months. That's why we're asking for your attention and support, so that together we can lend a helping hand.

You can probably imagine the situation in shelters.

But what about the enormous numbers of stray animals outside of them?

Imagine:

No roof over your head.
No warm place to hide.
No one to help you.
And above all: no food.

Day in, day out, the stray animals are hungry. The thick snow and icy cold make food hard to come by.

Out of sheer desperation, they eat garbage, bits of wood, or small stones—anything to feel something in their empty stomachs.

While right now, they need all their energy to stay warm and avoid freezing.

Fortunately, we know many loving animal lovers in these countries who do everything they can to help stray animals and chain dogs.

Primarily by providing them with food.

We will distribute the donations received for this aid project among several trusted animal helpers, who we know are dedicated to this work.

With your support, we can provide extra food and straw, simple cages, or other forms of shelter so they can at least stay warm.

For a stray animal, your help can mean the difference between life and death.

Please donate to this campaign today.

With us, your donation will be put to good use. We don't deduct costs like salaries, housing, car allowances, or other unnecessary extras.
